Ventana dermatológica de las enfermedades autoinmunes más prevalentes en la actualidad
Resumen
Introducción: Durante esta revisión sistemática de la literatura, centraremos la atención en las patologías más prevalentes del sistema inmune con lenguaje propio manifiesto en la piel. Dentro de estas se encuentran por ejemplo, el lupus eritematoso que se caracteriza con el eritema malar. La esclerodermia que afecta a los tejidos conectivos de la piel, los vasos sanguíneos, los músculos y los órganos internos, la cual aqueja generalmente a mujeres entre los 30 y 50 años. La dermatomiositis, que da lugar a la inflamación de músculos y de una erupción de piel asociada a personas con cáncer pulmonar y abdominal. El vitíligo que tendrá mayor enfoque y extensión en este artículo, en donde las células que dan el pigmento a la piel son destruidas. Finalmente, otras enfermedades de origen autoinmune que se integrarán no por su prevalencia, que es mínima, sino por su significancia clínica, como lo son las vasculitis, las aftosis, enfermedad de Behçet y la sarcoidosis, patologías que normalmente reposan en las manos del médico internista y el médico dermatólogo.
Objetivo: Describir las patologías autoinmunes con manifestación inicial cutánea que sirvan de guía al médico dermatólogo y al médico internista.
Método: Se realizó una búsqueda sistemática con términos Mesh, en bases de datos PubMed, Cinicalkey, Medscape, Lilacs, The New England Journal of Medecine y Google Academics, desde enero 2018 hasta la fecha. Se encontró una amplia variedad de artículos, revisando en promedio 400 artículos, dentro de los cuales se encuentran revisiones sistemáticas, reporte de casos, estudios retrospectivos, estudios multicéntricos y revisiones bibliográficas. Se seleccionaron un total de 44 artículos, los cuales incluían la identificación y asociación de enfermedad autoinmunes en piel, el tratamiento médico y la incidencia de las mismas.
